The Future of Maritime Security

Omega Dev Group and Greenroom Robotics Join Forces to Revolutionize Maritime Security with the Oracle Program

Omega Dev Group founder Blair Hickey and Greenroom Robotics co-founder Harry Hubbert spearhead collaboration.

Omega Dev Group, a prominent innovator in technology solutions, has partnered with Greenroom Robotics, a leading robotics and automation company. This revolutionary partnership aims to transform maritime security with the introduction of the Oracle Program. The Oracle Program, a cutting-edge initiative, which delivers advanced solutions that will shape the future of maritime security.

The collaboration between Omega Dev Group and Greenroom Robotics brings together the expertise and experience of two visionary entrepreneurs – Blair Hickey and Harry Hubbert. As the founder and CEO of Omega Dev Group, Blair Hickey has been at the forefront of harnessing cutting-edge technology to drive innovation in various industries. Harry Hubbert, co-founder of Greenroom Robotics, has been actively leading advancements in robotics, autonomy, and artificial intelligence.

Blair Hickey, sharing his excitement about the partnership, stated, “Maritime security in today’s dynamic global landscape is of paramount importance. By partnering with Greenroom Robotics, we were able to harness the power of cutting-edge technology. Our program strives to revolutionise maritime operations, ensuring safer and more secure oceans through advanced solutions and strategic collaboration. We aim to pave the way for a future where technology plays a pivotal role in safeguarding our maritime environment.”

Similarly, Harry Hubbert expressed his enthusiasm saying, “The collaboration between Omega Dev Group and Greenroom Robotics marks a significant milestone in the field of maritime security. Our combined expertise in robotics autonomy and AI allows us to provide unparalleled situational awareness, optimising naval capabilities and adapting to evolving security challenges. We are proud to be part of this transformative journey.”

The Oracle Program is envisioned as a network of autonomous platforms and sensors that will usher in unprecedented situational awareness above, at, as well as below the water’s surface. Equipped for tasks such as Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), border and asset protection, and major fleet escort capabilities, the Oracle 24 baseline vessels will serve as the backbone of this program. These vessels will be able to host a wide range of sensors and navigate autonomously, simultaneously providing a comprehensive tactical picture and facilitating data collection.

One of the essential aspects shaping the Oracle Program is its commitment to Australian sovereignty. Leveraging local manufacturing, IP software, and implementation, the program is a testament to Australian innovation. Furthermore, the program values scalability and integration, with the flexibility to incorporate data from various sensors or platforms while complementing existing and future capabilities.

To ensure efficient resource utilisation and alleviate the maintenance and crewing responsibilities, the Oracle Program adopts an innovative business model. It offers a robotics-as-a-service approach, allowing capabilities to be leased and creating cost-effective solutions for maritime security.
